SCTV (Second City Television) – Episode 14
Second City Television was a sketch comedy tv show made in Canada and known as SCTV, SCTV network, or SCTV Channel. SCTV first aired in 1976 on Global TV and remained on air until 1984 on various networks including moving to the United States. Cast members of SCTV included the greats Joe Flaherty, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Dave Thomas, and John Candy. Anyone growing up in the 1980’s in Canada would remember SCTV and SCTV was a big influence on many Canadian comedians including this episode’s guest, Damonde Tschritter. Damonde Tschritter is a Canadian comedian who grew up watching SCTV and falling in love with SCTV characters like Bob and Doug McKenzie, Count Floyd, Earl Camembert, and Ed Grimley. Damonde joins fellow Canadian comedian Pete Zedlacher for this episode of Look Back Laughs to LOOK BACK at SCTV (Second City Television).

Robin Williams – Episode 10
Robin Williams was a comedian, TV star, movie star, and an individual who helped raise millions for charity and continuously made us all laugh. Tragically, Robin’s life was ended early at the age of 63 due to his struggle with Lewy body disease. He brought us such a great body of work that luckily, we can always look back at and remember the wonderful life that Robin Williams had and shared with so many. Robin Williams was such an inspiration on me, and my own comedy and I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t love Robin Williams.

The Kids in the Hall – Episode 9
The Kids in the Hall are a Canadian sketch comedy troupe that have been making Canada laugh and proud for years. They started their own sketch comedy tv show on CBC with the main five members of Dave Foley, Mark McKinney, Scott Thompson, Bruce McCulloch, and Kevin McDonald. The Kids in the Hall on CBC were a big influence on me and my own comedy and helped in showing me that an Ontario kid could really make a career in comedy. I have also been very lucky to cross paths with all of them over my years!

Norm Macdonald – Episode 8
Norm Macdonald is a stand up comic whose humour can be an acquired taste for some. Starting with his early writing career on hit shows like Roseanne, to getting on Saturday Night Live and becoming the host of Weekend Update, two things Norm could always make you do were laugh or cringe. But one thing Norm will always be, is a proud Canadian! From his early stand up days to present, Norm Macdonald always found his quirky ways of making me laugh!
